Good stuff! I like #1 best (lighting and pose) and #3 would be great but that flash was too strong.

Thank you for your comment. I agree the flash may have been a bit too strong but it was one of my first attempts at portraits.

I have found it fun to do portraits as a change of pace, I am hoping you had fun with these.

#1 would be my favorite, but the girls fingers on the window got cut off which hurts the shot a bit. I do like the natural window lighting, and you exposed really well for it.

I like #3, though I agree the flash is a bit strong, not horribly so, and maybe only a photographer would say so. This guy would probably be very happy with this shot. I am wondering if there is anyway to tone the light down just a hair to make it look like the flash wasn't so strong? Not sure.

Thanks for posting these Bob. It's always great to see other types of photography that we all do from time to time.

Thank you for your critique. I tone down the brights just a bit and here is the results.
