The mountain was playing hide and seek all morning yesterday. This image was shot a few minutes before sunrise. I found the trails I hiked clean and free of trash. Impressive considering the shutdown. I also found out that the crowd is minimum mid week. Very few people on skyline trail.

Wow - the colors are getting better by the day. Good thing you got up there when you did. These meadows might be covered in snow by the end of this weekend.
