The first snowfall of the year blanketed mountains. The morning was bright, hazy, and snowy with glowing colors and light. I was walking around looking for compositions that would showcase wintery landscape. I wanted to capture the warmth of the trees contrasting with distant mountains. As soon as clouds moved, my foreground trees exploded with brightness and color. With that brightness and warmth came happiness and excitement.
