Provincetown Sunrise

I recently returned from a trip to Provincetown and Boston, my first visit to New England. Unfortunately, I got sick and spent an entire day in the hotel bed in Boston trying to sleep. These images are from my first morning in Provincetown.

U.S. Highway 6 begins and ends in Provincetown and Bishop, CA, where I live. There is a sign where I live that tells drivers on U.S. 6 that Provincetown is 3,200 miles away. I came very close to its counterpart in Provincetown while I was on a bicycle ride, but I had forgotten about it. I wish I remembered to look for it.

Sorry to hear you got sick on your visit but you did get a few nice takeaways for the other end of your hometown highway. I really like the sunrise image.

I have driven that highway between Tonopah to the Utah-Colorado border but certainly not 3200 miles worth to Provincetown. Might be an interesting journey if you had the time.

Very nice pictures, Michael.

The east coast scenery has a very different flavor, hope you have a speedy recovery.
