Pretty in Pink

My peonies got pretty well prostrated by the precipitation (snow). I'd propped them up with supports around Pasque, which is probably the only reason they didn't just pop off.

They went at least horizontal, so the blooms came at about a 90 degree angle. It'll be interesting to see how I can display them when I cut some to take to the office.

There used to be a vendor at the local farmers market who had dinner-plate sized peonies. Hare to imagine how he kept them upright.
