This is from almost a year ago when a nice sunrise made for a portrait with some lenticular clouds over Mt Rainier.

Thanks Alan. A sunrise like this doesn't seem in the forecast for a while. We have some serious rains the past few days with rivers overflowing. Many roads are closed and a state of emergency in many areas in western washington.

Thanks Alan. A sunrise like this doesn't seem in the forecast for a while. We have some serious rains the past few days with rivers overflowing. Many roads are closed and a state of emergency in many areas in western washington.

We finally got a break after several inches of rain down here mostly because the primary rain river moved up to your area. We have a few more inches of rain moving back down here starting on Sunday. Most of our wetlands look more like lakes right now.
