Thanks, Ben.Reminds me about how porcupines make love. The answer is very carefully. Good one Douglas.
Maybe his guy was cognizant of that because he was pretty slow, Alan.Nice capture. Almost have to wonder why their quills don't get stuck onto the bark since they are essentially wearing a coat that resembles velcro.
I have seen them twice, Jim. The first time I saw one it was at the Ridges Sanctuary he was pretty close. It scared me so I just got out of there. I eventually thought, gee I should have photographed him.Super cool Doug! A rather amazing shot. I have only seen a porcupine once and that was up in Alaska.
Thanks, Jameel. It was actually snowing that corn snow type of precipitation.A neat shot Doug. Looks like it there was also a rain/drizzle involved.
Thanks, Jeffrey.A well protected specimen. Nice image, Douglas.
Thanks so much, Kyle.Very nice!
Thanks for your kind comment, Jim.Excellent capture.
Thanks, Jim. They are neat animals.Great shot. I really like the snowflakes in the background. I used to see these guys in the Wasatch quite often.
Thanks a lot, Eric.Outstanding find and photo, Doug
