One thing I have noticed, at least on he front range in Colorado is that a lot of towns have these really cool cement sculptors in their parks. This one is really neat as it has even more kids in one sculptor. Great find Larry.

Hi Jim thanks for your comments, appreciated! I looks like marble to me, but certainly could be a very fine cement sculpture. I will see if I can find some definitive information on the sculpture! It is sculptured from a single limestone rock weighing over 44,000 pounds.! ;)

Nice shot of a cool sculpture. That looks more like marble than cement to my eyes.
Hi Alan the sculpture was carve out of large piece of limestone and was made for a children's park. It was made for children to climb on the sculpture and become part of the structure! The original piece of limestone used for this sculpture weighted over 44,000 pounds! ;)

It did look like a quarried piece given the quarry marks on the foundation stone. Must have been some pretty hard limestone to be able to take that kind of sheen on the figures at the top.
