Way too many unique pictures for one post.

Here are a few more of my favorites.

Question, are my people removal distracting? New process to me, I need to better my skillset. Let me know your thoughts.

So alone the path, they built an aqueduct to carry water into the city

I used to look at these cliff walls every day from the excavation sites where I was working. The general collection along the east cliff walls of Petra are collectively known as The Palace Tombs.

As for removing the people it looks quite normal to me as there weren't all that many tourists in Petra in the 1970's :)

Yeah - exactly why I prefer remembering the Petra I saw 50 years ago rather than going back. I'm not sure I want to see what it has become. Between your images during your trip and the ones that Kyle posted when he visited it has become Jordan's Disneyland.

Very cool Ed, keep the posts coming!

As to the people removal, it does seem odd to see a camel but no one standing by it. So for people removal, I would say don't just take all people out because they are people. Sometimes a person is needed in a travel scene, especially as I said with the camels.

Also, I am not sure what you are using to remove the people, but in several of the images you can see a "graying" in certain areas where it shouldn't be gray and lacking contrast and fuzzy. So the method used to remove people doesn't look all that good. How are you removing them again?

I like the idea of removing people when there are too many. But... under certain conditions.

#1 - if you can see the artifacts from the removal, then it's better to just leave the people.
#2 - like with the Camel, there is always a handler near by, so at a minimum I would expect to see that person.

I don't want to discourage you in anyway, as I find these images fascinating to see, and I know Alan has to be really enjoying a look at an area he had spent a lot of time in, but I also want you to get the best out of your photography as possible, so I hope you don't mind the suggestions.
