So I am back from wonderful and WINDY Patagonia. It was a great trip, with time split between Torres Del Paine National Park in Chile and Los Glacieres National Park in Argentina. It was a group of 10 people with 2 guides, and I travelled with 2 of my firiends, so we were 30% of the participants
The weather was mostly OK cloud and rain-wise, but the wind was pretty epic, especially once we headed to the park in Argentina. On a few shoots I had to bump up my ISO just to increase my chances of a shot without blur, all the time holding down my tripod as best I could. There were times when priorities changed to not getting blown over yourself. Crazy wind at times. The guides were good if a little hands-off, which suited me fine but I think a few of the participants were wanting some more direction and were not resonding when the guides asked if anyone had questions.
I ended up with a decent amount of images I liked (23), with 6 of those being halfway decent wildlife images.
I will be posting my favorites of the 23 shots over time, but to get started, here are 2 versions of our most incredible sunrise from the trip, on the shores of Lago Pehoe in Torres del Paine NP. The star attraction of 'The Horns' (Cuerno Principal and Cuerno Este) are seen, along with surrounding peaks. This incredible light lasted for about 15 minutes and then was simply gone...

Comments and critiques most welcome, as well as any other questions I might try to answer about the trip and the area.
