Passing Through the Badlands

In March, my wife and I had our 3 week ski vacation cut short due to temps in the 60s for several days in a row. So we took a slightly longer route home and passed through the Badlands which my wife had never seen. Late morning overcast light but enough to catch the yellows of the mounds area.

Thanks Alan! When we first entered the park, it was overcast with bland gray skies. The light got better the further we drove through the park.

Very cool Bob. The Badlands is in my Top 5 of favorite National Parks. I get there several times a year. So it's great to see your take on it.

Did you stop in Wall Drugs and eat lunch or dinner there?
