This little slope had some nice lines created by the color of the different flowers: Pussy Toes (white), Cascade Asters, (purple), and Paintbrush (red).
Maybe not but yours seem to be, Ben.Great image I forget that I can exclude the mountain and make a nice image like this and not every image must be epic
Thanks, Jameel. I used to teach a field course there every three years in late July-early August. Some years were good and others not so much. If you hit is during a good year it can be fantastic..Just pretty Doug. I am definitely planning on it this year. Its still snow covered for the most part. Late July/early Aug is the time. The weather has been crummy so far this year.
I hope you do get up there, Jim, because it can be fantastic. An awesome view Doug! I sure wish I could get back up there this year as that had been in my summer plans. Maybe I can still make it, but it's not looking good.
You should definitely do that, Alan. You will go nuts if you get there during a good year.Neat natural bouquet - not sure I have been up there during prime flowering season to see those meadows look like this.
Very clever, Monika. Thanks for the comments.Perfect for this July 4th weekend, Doug!
The angle of the slope makes me want to tilt my head![]()
