Palouse Road Trip

Made a road trip through the Palouse with my brother and wife on Saturday with stops at the falls and Steptoe Butte. We didn't have time for many stops, but I got some gooduns anyway, a few drive-by shots even came out nicely thanks to the fabulous clouds.

Looks like spring is just getting started for the fields so far. I like the drone perspective for Palouse Falls. I definitely like the clouds.

I will be heading out in that direction as well as Central Oregon in a couple of weeks so its nice to get a view of what things look like right now.

Really nice Jim! Like Alisa, #1 and 5 are my favorites.

These shots are really tempting me to swing over that way from Colorado, Utah or New Mexico the middle of May... I have been wanting to shoot the Palouse and perhaps the middle of May will have some nice patterns in the Palouse but not yet be so crowded as I have heard it can get the middle of June?

The Palouse has been on my list, but it just seems like a really long drive from Colorado.... Thanks for brining it a lot closer, Jim!
