I worked at finding as many of the Yellowstone thermal features as possible while based in Jackson. Three long days of driving up there, but I did manage to get a few of them. This is a style that I am not conversent so your honest CC is very welcome.

#2 is my favorite Ben. You captured that really well. Followed by #3. In #1, it looks like you got someone's reflection in the upper left? Unless that's just part of the weird coloring of those thermals.

Thanks Jim, yes, probably somebody's reflection, and maybe a tree. I tried to time the bubbles in that pot.

So go tighter in #1. Crop off the left side and some off the top. I think the best lines/curves in it is in the bottom and right side.

s suggestion. The second is the same scene from a different perspective.

I had a much easier drive for that set of pools since I was staying at the Madison Campground at the time. I like the second image - that's a nice view of that pool. I think I included some of the Madison River in a version I shot. I also like #3 with the nice cloud reflections. I like the last rework of the first pool - the inclusion of the dead branches in the upper right adds some interest to the scene.
