The churning waves at Cook's Chasm on the Oregon coast at Cape Perpetua are fun to watch when the swells are high. You can often get nice displays of the foam that results from the constant agitation of the waves crashing into the basalt ledges. This is from a visit last fall.

Thanks - I actually shot this using an iPhone 15 Pro. I use my iPhone as my wet weather camera and it was raining sideways while I was down at the viewpoints. The EXIF claims 1/720s @f/2.8 ISO 25.

I have taken the tour at Tillamook and that's what this reminded me of :)
