Old Stove

We were exploring Native American articles at the trading post at the Garden of the Gods. I saw this old stove with a native sculpture and a vase of flowers all against a stucco wall and it made a nice study in light and shadow.

Interesting looking stove - definitely needs some TLC. The flower vase and the native sculpture looks nice but in a very curious spot.

I do have to admire the skills it took to cook with a stove like that. It's one thing to get it lit but to maintain the temperatures to bake bread must have been a tough task to master. That's in pretty good shape considering its age.
