Ok Dear, just one more step back.....

The drop is probably about 200 ft right behind these two. And while they look careless, the Dad took extra care while there and the young boy only stood long enough for the picture, he literally came back on all fours. It made a good candid anyway.

This could of course be considered a precarious topic...... :D

It is probably well that the kid did not know he was being photographed by someone else given your descriptions of his apprehensions about his pose in the first place.

Yeah, he didn’t need any distractions.

I sometimes get near edges like that and usually get nervous going back.
Heights and perception are strange. I’ve flown airplanes, jumped out of a few, love to hike mountain trails and none of that bothers me; but I really can’t stand 6’ ladders. Yeah, weird. o_O

Very cool Mike, what I want is the shot of the kid crawling back!
Ha! Good idea and I missed it .

damn, I was tensing up just looking at the photo. Nice capture!

Ha, yeah it looks bad but they were careful. A few years ago we saw a young couple jumping around off to the right of this spot. The boy fell backwards and was stopped from going over the edge by a bush. They never looked back to see how close they were. Ignorance is bliss, or maybe just ignorant . Thanks... Mike
