Oceanside Lighthouse

Coming back north from San Diego a few weeks back the I-5 was packed in one area, so we got off and took the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) Hwy 1 up along the coast where we went through Oceanside California. It was past dinner time and the stomach was growling quite a bit, so we turned off PCH into the pier area of Oceanside and was heading toward a little Fish and Chips place we had seen on the map. It was then that I saw the Lighthouse and found that there was a Lighthouse restaurant next to it. So we changed plans and opted for dinner here, and afterwards I took some photos of the Lighthouse.

I was a bit lazy, so I shot handheld at ISO 6400 and up on the Nikon D850. This one is ISO 6400.

I'd certainly do that if I had my camera nearby. Nice that the restaurant canopy matches the red and white of the lighthouse. I like the reflections that came along with....

Nice shot, you stood in the best spot probably, you got reflection, still water and access to all the lighting and all that too!!

Thanks Dave! I did choose this spot for exactly those reasons.
