Now Playing

[Kyle Jones]

I don't know about the rest of you, but when I sit down at the computer for serious work (like photo editing) I tend to put on some music. I thought it might be fun to create a "now playing" thread to share some of the music we listen to. I know I won't contribute every time I put something on, but I will once in a while and we might be able to help each other find things to listen to or at least learn something about each other.

At the moment I'm not editing, I'm doing some year-end financial work instead. Still listening to music though... Feel free to pile on as the mood strikes you.

I always have my earphones on, Bose QC35-2 playing from my Spotify collection of around 1000 or so classical recordings. I am currently listening to Shostakovich Symphony No 6.

I am more likely to play music when I work in my wood shop using ISOtunes both for sound deadening of my powered woodworking tools as well as playing music.

Current playlist is a collection of 4 or 5 Joe Bonamassa albums.

Now.... as usual I am the odd one... I enjoy total silence while I edit.

I don't know how you guys can do it, I would find it distracting.

But great idea Kyle. Most of you do like to enjoy music while editing, so that will be interesting to see.

I am with you Jim. I like a quiet environment as well.

NP: Steven Wilson - The Future Bites
One of my favorite artists, but I'm not sure this one is my cup of tea

[Ben Egbert]

Cello suite #4 J.S. Bach. As long as I don't listen to music with words, I am not distracted.
