This door was found on an abandon home at Cape Neddick, NY I thought it presented an interesting surface and contrast to those at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The two Halloween pumpkins dress it up nicely.
Those pumpkins were being sold at the home next door to this so I bought them and put them here to give the door some more character.A very distinct contrast to the well maintained paint jobs from Lunenburg. Interesting to see the painted pumpkins next to the abandoned structure.
I agree, Ben.Needs a good scrapping-sanding and some paint and it could look nice.
I did peak inside and it was a mess as most abandoned houses are. Read Alan's reply to see where those pumpkins came from. What a super cool door Doug with lots of character. Those 2 pumpkins really set it off nicely.
Were you able to peek inside any of the windows? Was there anything still in it?
