This was a new beach for me but I had seen posts from here and knew that I had to visit on a low'ish falling tide.
Unfortunately the tide wasn't quite low enough for me to visit the sea caves, more on tides later but at least the rain stopped and the light improved. Getting around this beach is very difficult, the rocks are sharp, irregular, often unstable and littered with sea pools, some of which are deep. It would be very easy to get into serious trouble on a rising tide as the interesting bits of the beach are about 1/4 mile along the rocky coastline with a couple of pinch points close to the water's edge.
