Northern Pintail

Capture this Northern Pintail several years ago on a trip to the Basque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. It was on the same trip that I caught the RedTail Hawk I posted yesterday. This image was also processed using the Gigapixel processor in Photoshop.

Nice pose for this pintail. This is one of the most common winter visitors in my area and we see a lot of them.

I have not seen the Northern Pintails in our area, but have frequently seen the Northern Shovelers passing through our area in the spring.
