Night Blazer

From a few days ago in Arches National Park in Utah. This is Wall Street. It's a bit tougher of a shot for me since I had to shoot it with my 16-35mm f4 lens instead of my normal 14mm f1.8. I also had to deal with a drunk guy who started to wander around with a flashlight shining it around and saying he was looking for his way. When I told him the parking lot was right behind us he started to get pretty belligerent and I actually thought he was going to get violent. So that kind of ruined the mood of the evening, though I had shot this one before that happened as I spotted what looked like a trail blazer off in the distance as night began to closing in.

I think you should keep the story in as a cautionary tale.
The glow makes the shot special. though I would crop some of the top

I like the way all lines lead toward the glow. A very good composition. I also like the way the clouds ling up with the east wall of the canyon.

Thanks so much Alan! I am not sure what the person was doing back there. Some of my shots turned out like this with a very nice glow in the back, and then others it was streaks of light as they were pointing their flashlights/headlamps towards me. I wasn't sure if I would like the light while I was shooting.
