Multicolored Azalea

We have planted a lot of different flowers, shrubs, and trees in our yard but this isn't one of them. It's some type of uncommon azalea that really isn't in an ideal location but it puts out these really nice blooms every year so we have left it alone and just enjoy the show. I have looked at lots of azalea info online but have never been able to specifically ID the plant beyond the fact that its an azalea and not a rhododendron.

iPhone 15 Pro using the Adobe Project Indigo camera app.

Very nice Alan, love the way the pedals look like they were painted.

I wanted to like Project Indego, but found it to be kind of confusing to use.

Thanks Jim - the blooms on this plant are quite unique.

I haven't been using the Project Indigo app entirely in manual mode but did set it up for auto ISO with manual shutter speed. There is no settable f/stop on an iPhone since the result is computer from the multi shot layers in the first place. Adobe does handle the computational part of the captures collected by the camera sensors. I do find the resulting exposure/colors to be far more faithful over the Apple camera app which tends towards colors and contrast that are too punchy for my taste. I am doing all of my edits on a computer with a calibrated monitor and not on the mobile phone applications.
