Love it Alan! You have one awesome driveway. :)

I sure like the view, but the cat side of me became curious while viewing this. :) How much can you crop and still get a useable image? Could you crop into Mt Hood for example where its just clouds on the bottom and no trees?

Thanks Jim - I just tried that crop and offer it up below. I happen to be quite fond of living amongst all of the trees and its one of the reasons I live up here and not down in the desert :)

This is actually at a 100% crop to get rid of the trees since the 7x camera is only 12MP:

Great view Alan. It has been even wetter and greyer up here.
Thanks Jameel - almost hard to believe you have been even wetter. Buckle up - the long term weather forecasts say this pattern is going to stick around through the end of June. I wandered up the Gorge this morning to celebrate a dry day - and got hit with showers.

Hmmm. I really like the original presentation, but the crop tells a whole different story. I don't think I'm being any help here...

Thanks Tim - for a web presentation like this both will work. For a print I don't think either of these is in the ballpark with a 12MP sensor.

very nice view from your driveway!
Thanks Beth - biggest problem is dragging myself out of bed early enough to catch good sunrise colors 🤪
