Mount Cook in New Zealand

Mt Cook is on the south island of New Zealand and is part of what is called the southern Alps. Mt Cook is over 12,000 ft high and has a very nice ski area.

Image is from a trip we made to New Zealand in 1985 and taken with the Rollieflex SL 66 using Panatomic-X film. To make this image the negative was scanned and processed in Photoshop.

Not sure I would want to try skiing down the lower slopes on this side of the mountain. Interesting looking peak.

Hi Jim, yes I had a business trip to New Zealand, took a week vacation around the business meetings, and got to take Kathleen with me! What a great experience and so much beauty on those 2 islands!
