Morning at Millard

Millard Canyon campsite is at the end of the most remote road in the Maze. It stops when it reaches the Green River. I have shown an image looking toward the river, this one is a sunrise shot looking south west. The little road continues down to the river, but we did not take it as we were concerned with fuel.

One of the more remote locales you can access in Utah. It's hard to take enough extra fuel to be able to explore areas like this freely. Interesting looking buttes and terrain looking up that little road.

If you are 4WD enthusiast, it is a lot of fun getting there. :) There were plenty of impressive views along the way that went unphotographed because we were passing by them during midday. For whatever reason, I think I've become a sunrise/sunset photographer. 🤓

I stopped when we got closer to those buttes and got a more intimate shot of it, will show it later.

Right, hard to stop for photos when you are a mile down a sand wash that is not part of the road.
