I have never thought about stacking teleconverters before - very nice result. Are you manually focusing with this combination?

You can only stack 2 x Tc's if you put a 12mm Auto Ext tube between them (in the case of the Canon 1.4x Mk3's).
I shoot both, but the Auto focus is just as good.
I was quite surprised as the clarity is still perfect, I always use f11 so the light loss is immaterial.
Has to be a tripod & remote shutter also obviously as the magnification is so large.
Results are pleasing, so I'm quite happy.

Impressive result with that setup. I have a tamron TC and a canon one which I can stack easily. I tried this with my 100-400 to get a 800mm focal length. It works but there is a price to it in terms of the overal image quality.
It had slipped by me that you were stacking 2 tc's. That makes your results even more special. It's great you found a combination that works, your end result is sure sharp!

Not with 2 x Canon 1.4x Mk3 I think you'll find. If image quality is lacking, I would suggest that it is the Tamron that is causing the issue.
Obviously the camera will make a difference also.
