Mono Foam

When I was up at Mono Lake a few weeks ago, one of the evenings there was this foam that had gotten blown up along the shore line. Of all my times at Mono Lake I don't recall ever seeing the foam built up like this before.

All comments are welcome,

That's a really unique look for that lake and shoreline. Nice that you got some evening color to go along with it. It almost reminds me of the cotton batting people put around the base of Christmas trees down in front.

Thanks so much Alan. At the time I also thought it was really cool that there were no footprints or handprints in the foam itself. There were a few other people around so to have the foam left alone was really sweet.

Looks like the day after a wind storm, the foam looks great here, but after it sits around a while it doesn't look so good.

Jim,
This is very cool. Like the tree in the lower right with the foam all around it. It must have been very windy the day before to create all that foam.
