Millard Canyon CG is 46 miles from the Hans Flat ranger station and a 6 hour drive. It is the most remote place in the Maze and the drive is awesome.

The road is stopped by the Green River. Once at he CG, you do see some river traffic. The great blue heron I showed in last weeks weekly wings can be seen at the edge of that sand bar if you have sharp eyes.

Lovely sunset and a nice composition Ben. Never been to that part of the terrain and likely won't in the near future as I am ill equipped for that at the moment.

You are definitely exploring some of the deepest back roads in that area with this visit. Beautiful sunset and view from there.
The drive out here was so different, it was like a flash back in time.

Thanks Jameel. The drive is not the hardest Maze drive, but we got lost a couple times when the road was not marked.

Ben, beautiful sunset. It sounds like the driving condition is a bit rough to get there, I wonder if a regular, compact SUV will get there.
