Mill Canyon Road.

This is from last week when I drove up to Mill Canyon Road and did a test hike to my favorite place. I was not sure I could make it this year with my bum hip, but I did and that alone made the whole trip worthwhile.

I had some cloud color but the clouds never allowed any sun on the peaks. So I will show the progression from pre sunrise until some color arrived.

Beautiful view from that meadow. Glad you were able to make it up there and bring us along. I like the last shot with the hints of sunset colors.

From your title Ben I was thinking you were going to do a road image! :)

This is a great location, it's always fun to watch the progression of light.

No favorites, they are all pleasing.

Thanks Jim I had just returned from here when you called.

Nice sequence before sunrise. The last one in color stands out.

Thanks Jameel, I almost limited my post to just that one.

Nice one, Ben. I glad you were able to make the hike. As we get older it gets tougher and tougher. I have two bucket lists: the one with things I think I can still do and those which I know I can no longer do. The latter list is far outpacing the former. Eventually, I'll be limited to road kills.

Thanks Douglas I was facing hip replacement but physical therapy is delaying that
