So I recropped the original image and reprocessed it
Did I over process it?

This one is the redo.

The only way I could bring out the nebulas of the milkyway was to crop out the clouds as they were being blown out

That was a good idea to crop it so you could focus on just the Milky Way, but the MW was quite a bit overdone. Where did all of the red come from?

Processing MW images is the hardest part of capturing the MW.

Why is there the dark halo's around the clouds in the original one? Did you try to do some layer masking?

Can you post the original unedited copy of this one? It would be interesting to see what you started with. And also post your settings again you captured it with.
