24 mm, Jim. I wanted the f2.8. 24 mm is a good fit for the ground, but a bit limiting on the MW. I may buy a 14 f2.8 lens and plan to get back here for an extended shoot when the MW is in a better position.

The 14mm f2.8 gives you so many advantages over the 24mm.

1. You can shoot longer shutter speeds without star movement.

2. You will have larger depth of field to help keep the photo in focus.

You can always crop it smaller if needed.
