Mesquite Dunes in B&W #1

Need your wisdom on how I can improve this B&W rendition of Mesquite Dunes @ DVNP. Different crop? Reduce contrast? Ple provide your suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I would be inclined to bring up the shadows a bit. Especially in the hills behind the dunes as they seem a bit too dark with this rendering.

Interesting challenge Murali.

I might go the opposite of Alan, I would keep the shadows dark. But I think this image has lots of possibilities. I need to think on this one.
