Mercury and Jet do a Transit across the Sun

I set up to take the Mercury Transit across the sun - as I started to take some preliminary shots I noticed a jet making its way across the sun so I snapped a couple - the clouds were still thin and I thought would not get the planet too but was pleasantly surprised to get the planet, the plane and the clouds all in one shot

Thank you, Marcy. A beautiful catch. I got an eyeball glimpse of the moon tonight before the clouds came in at my location in the Northeast, and I was telling my son and his friend about the process. So I am very happy to see this post, which I'll show him before bedtime.
