Merced River Colors

Here is another couple of images from my recent trip to Yosemite. That bright yellow tree caught my eye from the road and I had to stop and check it out. I played some with its placement in the frame, the colors in the background, and how much of the river to include. Here are two favorites

Hard to choose Kyle, I like the larger splash of yellow in the first, but I really like that extra bit of river in the second.

Beautiful color show in both of these. I kind of favor the second with the better view of the reds in the forest as well as the wider view of the river.

Awesome work Kyle! These look great. #1 is my favorite. As for the crop on #2, I like the idea, but I would crop just to the left of the tree.
