About 50 yrs ago I worked as an electronic engineer for IBM. My daily drive to work brought me past this view of Dumbarton Castle under the Rock and Ben Lomond. Unfortunately in the intervening years they have built riverside flats and a bowls pavilion spoiling the view. The tide was out so I may return tomorrow and reshoot with a high tide. Ken

Fun to have such a nice road to drive on your way to work. Much nicer than viewing industrial zones from an urban expressway.

I love seeing this actually at low tide. It is a shame the view has gotten ruined through the years, but this is a really nice view.

And it's cool that it brings back memories of days gone by.
