Wow - there is some pretty good artwork amongst the chaos on those walls. Nice collection of it. I like the work in #3.

Indeed, 'chaos' is the apt word for much of it, but there are some real gems. And apparently it's always changing, since the city periodically paints over the walls, creating a fresh canvas for the taggers.

That's some amazing graffiti! Too much of the graffiti I see is gang related and just peoples or gangs initials? But graffiti like this is a real art form that can be so interesting to view.

And I am guessing there must be some 70 to 80 year old graffiti artists as I can't imagine any teenagers today knowing about Tom and Jerry.

I was wondering about the Tom & Jerry art, too (but I'm not 70-80 years old, and I know who they are, though I have to confess I have no idea which is the cat and which is the mouse--presumably Tom is the cat?).
