Lemurs can be found in various zoos in the Netherlands, in Blijdorp Zoo in Amsterdam the red vari live freely in their own small habitat and as a visitor you can walk among these animals and get very close to shoot photos. Touching or chasing the animals is strictly forbidden, in the past there have been red vari just walking out of the zoo at night, later picked up in the city by the police or zoo staff, they are smart boys and girls!
