M27 and a couple of sun shots

I haven't taken very many shots lately. I have been doing more solar than deep sky. I'm starting to do some deep sky again and hoping to get out to a dark site.
M27 was taken from my backyard which sorry to say it the most light polluted area of the sky, Bortle 7. I used the 9.25 edge with the f/7 reducer and the ASI 533 camera and the Optolong LP pro filter. This is 90-60 sec subs, stacked these in the ASI deepstack and processed in Pixinsight. I will add more data as soon as I get a clear night.
The solar shots were taken with the Lunt 60 and the ASI 1600 mm, captured in asicap, stacked in Autostakkert and sharpened in Registax. the final processing was in Photoshop.

Hey Chuck, it's been a bit, I am glad you got out and posted some photos here. My imaging has been real hit and miss this year, lot's of bad weather or bad timing.

You did great on M27, I really like it. And your solar images reminds me that I really would like to get a solar setup one of these days. I really enjoy seeing all of the detail you are able to pull from the sun.

Thank You! It looks like this week will be clear so I might do some narrow band imaging this week and if there are nice prominences on the sun I will do that also.

Great job on all of these! M27 is a beauty, and the solar images are jaw-dropping. I have never done the sun - I am afraid of getting hooked on yet another time and money consuming aspect of this great hobby. These solar captures sure are compelling though...

Thanks Mike, You can really get hooked on imaging the sun, it changes so much. I take out the solar scope almost every sunny day. If there is something of interest especially large prominences I take some videos and do a quick process, don't have to spend much time on it unless you want to do time lapse.
