Didn't like the originals so I reprocessed to what most images looked like on Astrobin. Got it as close as its going to get.

So this target is "really" low on the horizon for me, and also my neighbors tree is right in the main path of where I usually set up so I always wrote it off as a target but I found a spot I could get between 3 to 4 hours a night. With nothing else interesting and several clear nights I gave it a shot!

What's here shown is 10 hours (4 night effort) It only took 4 years lol
How do the colors look? Crop or no crop?

SV SVX 102, 2600 mc camera with the L extreme filter and my trusty sky watcher EQ6R pro mount. And it was HOT and Humid here in SC

Hey Ed, that's awesome that you got this guy, it's one of my favorites.

The red Ha signal is the correct color I would say, it's just over saturated. So go back to your original, and just pull back on the Red saturation, leave the Blue alone.

The last one you had edited, I will just say went the wrong way.

Ed,

Looks like your perseverance REALLY paid off - this is an excellent version of M20. never would have guessed it was low on the horizon for you. It is an amazing target with both emission and reflection nebulae that you have brought out in wonderful color and detail here. One of my very favorites from you!
