Delightful viewing at the larger size. I like how easy it is to see the shape that gave this galaxy its name.
You sure you didn't catch a UFO there

It is very small galaxy when imaging. I shot this at 2350mm and still had to crop a considerable amount.

Thanks Jim, I will leave the 9.25 for a while but our rainy season is coming at the beginning of June which means not too many clear nights. If it is clear it is not very transparent. It usually doesn't clear until 2am. It will be the moon. I took most of my galaxies shots from a dark site using a one shot color camera. I'm in the reprocessing mode, I've learned so much since I took the shot that it is worth doing them over.

Fabulous work - this has a real 3 dimensional feeling, and some detail starting to pop out on the dust lane and even on the disk - stunning! Thanks form the link to the larger version, that one is a special treat!

Thanks Mike, This was one of the galaxies that I enjoyed visually and couldn't wait to image it.
