Really nice set of shots - if my memory serves me you shoot with a lightning detector? Some of these strikes must have been deafening.

Yes, it's been a while, so I am glad the lightning brought you back!
One can't beat that ground layer you have for these lightning. It's really cool seeing in #2 how the lighting is hitting the front side of the rock. I am not sure which of these I would pick as favorites as they all are really awesome. I have been capturing some lightning up here near my daughters house in Colorado the last few weeks, but my ground layer is just farmers fields, I really like what you captured so much nicer.

Yes Alan I use the lightning Bug. You are also correct about how loud they were.
