Light on Loretto, Mexico

I recently cruised in a big ship south from San Diego and into the Sea of Cortez. My favorite port stop was Loretto, a small-town north of La Paz. Very fun place to experience the local colorful architecture. Not much time to work so I was in street, architecture, handheld mode.

Very cool Jeffrey! I like that architecture. It sounds like you had a fun trip and you got to go to some places not on the normal cruise route, or at least the route I have been on.

My favorites are #2 and 4.

Delightful set Jeffrey - that first image really sets the mood for the rest in my mind. Almost a timeless setting. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful Shots Jeffrey..
#4 is my favorite shot here , I really like the angle in which you composed this to include the corner on the right it gives the shot a lot of depth and creates a more dynamic feeling sort of 3D. #2 is something I look for when I’m out shooting these types of shots and really like that as well.

Old Mexico is a stunningly beautiful place, there are many old world towns and cities that can capture the hearts of the culture-less northerners. Of course it takes someone with real talent to make a meaningful image.

Loretto was a place I camped long ago as part of a 6 week camping and diving trip with a friend. The good old days.

Images like this make me want to go back and relax!
