Here is my version of this. The interesting thing here is the natural field with wild deer and a backdrop of a city high rise. I wanted to really bring out the deer and downplay the city.

Nice work on yours Ben. This is indeed a cool photo that @Brian is letting us play with. The contrast between country and city is very unusual.

I will work on one later, I am still getting caught up here after just getting home this morning from 3 weeks on the road. This looks like a really fun shot.

Brian? This is from the Rocky Mountain Arsenal right? The backdrop looks like it. I had gotten some similar shots with Bison, but it was really getting too dark as it was past sunset.

Yep. It was on the southbound (one way) road on the west side of the arsenal.

I am going the B&W route. I did most of this in ACR. But then I did use a Layer Mask to separate the field and deer from the skyscrapers and sky. That allowed me to brighten up the ground more, and do more highlight recovery in the sky. I then converted it to B&W and cropped it.

I would like to replace my entry - the one I posted yesterday felt a bit on the crunchy side for my eyes after I posted it. I also did a bit of a trim for a crop.
