Thanks Jameel - the red trilliums tend to have almost downward facing blooms so not easy to get face on shots. I shot this kneeling on the ground.The red trilliums look interesting and would make for some interesting closeups as well.
Thanks Alan - I like the Nodding Robin name. The flower heads do seem to be nodding all the time so you have to almost get down on the ground to shoot them. Getting down low was helpful in this case to get both types of blooms into the frame.Fantastic image Alan! Loving the contrast between flowers. We call the red trillium Nodding Robin.
