Lakes in the Tatras - Carpathian Mountains.

Amazing level of detail when viewed at 100%. Beautiful looking area. Will this area get snow during the winter?
Thanks, Alan. Yes, this lake is quite high up, in winter it freezes completely and you can't tell by sight where the lake is and where the land is.. The snow falls about 1/2 meter - it's a lake in the mountains, people sled here on the lake. There are enough apartments in the vicinity of this lake, which are always full of visitors and owners. From the lake it is possible to walk to the two nearest peaks with another elevation of 1300m.. a demanding hike to frozen waterfalls and the highest mountain lakes..

Photo from a Friday walk of a lower lake in the Tatras. Processed in the Fuji Velvia slide profile (my favorite slide in the Pentax 67II), Fujifilm GFX 100s, 35-70mm lens.

Hey Peter, what a super cool shot! I agree that lake sure looks full. I would love to live in that house in the background.
