Interesting and colorful scenes.

The first image is a good reminder that Ketchikan is part of the Temperate Rain Forest that extends down the coastline - observe the exposed sewer lines. I have seen a lot of this type of construction along the Oregon coast since it is very rare that they get freezing temperatures that could break the systems.

Yes the locals told us it never snows there. They said it does get cold in the winter due to the winds that sweep thru in the winter.
