Wow - gorgeous color show and its just getting started. This time of year I get jealous of places where deciduous trees are more numerous than the evergreens.

Wow - gorgeous color show and its just getting started. This time of year I get jealous of places where deciduous trees are more numerous than the evergreens.

I have noticed, anytime we have a significant drought during the summer, we have a really gorgeous color show in the trees. They all start to change at the same time. The bonus were enough fall rain (not much, just enough) to keep the leaves on the trees. Anyways, the colors are nice. I won't be getting out this weekend but maybe the next when the leaves will probably be past peak here but I can hope.

This is quite the view you have Jon! That's a very nice display of color. There are enough greens left that I think the color might hold out for 2 weeks for you.
