Just in Case

I am currently at California Adventure at Disneyland and waiting for the World of Color water show. I got the perfectly, centered as close as you can get. Which is surprising because I only got here an hour early.

The only issue with having the perfect spot is that the mist from the water starts causing moisture to get on the lens. With my plans to video that could be an issue. I do have some soft napkins and a lens cleaner to wipe it off occasionally. What just came to my mind is I should have brought a small blower to just blow the drops of water off perhaps. I think that could work.

This is my spot, and I have a life preserver here, Just in Case.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

I have always carried a cloth napkin in my camera bag just for lens wiping. Can't say I am that diligent when just wandering around with my phone.

Thanks Alan. With my video's I always check it before I start a video. And in this case with the Water show, you get soaked where I was. They warn you before hand, and I was soaked by the time the show was over. I had to wipe off the lenses on my iphone 4 or 5 times during the show. I did it quick, and I tried to time it between songs, so I will splice the video around those parts and see how it looks. I found a spot about 10 feet behind where I was that would still give me good views but also decrease just how wet myself and my iphone would get.

Water was running down my hat, down my hands, the gimbal, the mono pod, etc.... They specifically turn the water to soak this area. And they soaked us!
